Since the first non-native entrepreneur bought or traded for an authentic aboriginal item, then place it out to be seen so that it could be sold with a mark-up, the galleries of Canada have assisted our people with socio-economically prospering. In doing so, the aboriginal people of this great land have had one of the greatest influences imaginable, to assist with keeping our cultures flourishing. A great service they do, and even to this day galleries support many families in their purchasing of items of our ways, that we allow to be made available to the world.

To continue with this Canadian tradition, Aboriginal Adventures Canada would like you to know that by use of this site you can see before coming to our lands, what type of art you may be interested in. Do take note that most artists also work through the galleries to take on commissions for the exact piece you may want. One of the things that we do with Aboriginal Adventures Canada on the west coast of Canada is bringing people to see animals in their natural setting. This means that one can have a cedar mask worn by me or one of my fellow First Nations that work with me, with the animal that is carved in the back-ground. Think of how amazing your collection would be to have a photo of your carved mask of the grizzly bear, eagle or an orca with the real animal in the background?

I continually seek galleries of every medium to be placed on this site for you to find that unique piece of art that is exactly what you seek. If you should have any questions about where to find that piece, please don’t hesitate to contact Aboriginal Adventures Canada. I would be more than happy to assist you. I thank you for supporting our Canadian aboriginal artists and the numerous galleries that have helped our people for many generations.
